What are the best veggies to plant in a raised bed with mediocre soil? What is the recommended timeline for planting? Any other advice for getting started?

Expert Response

Good Day,

No time like the present to start gardening.  I'm attaching some information on raised beds and a planning calendar.  I personnally have grown quite a few things in my raised beds.  Sweet peas, green beans, tomatoes, cumcumbers, raspberries, strawberries, asparagus and herbs have been very successful in my gardens.  I also recommend you test your soil so that you know what you may need to add.

I hope this helps.  Thanks for using our service.

V/r,

Doreen
